The hill is very slippery almost like a 45° slope. You can also park at the top of the hill, then walk down. \*\*Based on health and safety considerations, BRING YOUR OWN bed linens, pillows, and towels\*\* We provide 4 refillable bottles water from Walmart, 20L / bottle. However, you can always go to Parry Sound Walmart (30 mins drive) to refill if you think that's not enough for use. This cottage has no AC (have the fan), no Wi-Fi (data is very limited due to the fact that the cottage is at the bottom of the hill). During this special situation, we accept max. 8 guests to stay. Thank you for understanding. Designed and re-built by the owner. Brand new two-story 4+2 bedroom luxury waterfront cottage at Parry Sound. The main building has a spectacular view of the lake and sunrise with large windows all around the cottage This beautiful home features 4 bedrooms that sleep 8 total, with 3 bathrooms. Moreover, there is a backside guests house (without bathroom) with 2 bedrooms that sleep 4 people. It also features a laundry washing machine and dryer for those extra long stays, detergent is not supplied. Ground Floor is a large open space (living room & Kitchen& dining table) to accommodate everyone, with a flat-screen TV and a CD player. Outside the Cottage, there is a large wooden deck with a gas BBQ grill and a basketball hoop. There is a dock in front of the cottage, and there is a public boat launch that is 500m away from the cottage(message us if you would like to launch your boat). Great lake for fishing. Water activities: Swimming, Fishing, Drifting. Also, 4 kayaks and 2 stand-up paddleboards provided. The water on the dock front is not weedy, but there are many rocks around the dock, highly recommend to swim there with some type of shoes (crocs, water shoes, etc.). There is a nice small beach is 1-2 km around the cottage, 3 mins drive. The map shows in the last pics. 30 mins drive to Parry Sound. The cottage features a beautiful lake view and an outdoor fire pit that can accommodate all guests at once. Very little negative to say about it. It was a really pretty location. The lake was exactly what we wanted. It's a smaller lake but big enough to explore. There's a cool waterfall kind of thing near by that we found. The outdoor amenities provided were great too. We had enough for everyone to get out on the water. The cottage itself was super nice. It had definitely just been redone. The only 2 things that I think could be improved were the king bed mattress. If you like VERY firm then it's for you. The other beds are really comfortable though. My other complaint is that there wasn't a coffee table. Or at least the coffee table was being used for TV stuff (DVD player etc) and it would have been difficulty to unplug and move it. It would have been nice to have a spot for drinks and snacks. Those 2 are small complaints, given everything else was pretty well perfect. The kitchen is nicer than the one at my own home! All in all I would absolutely recommend this cottage. It was perfect for the 5 of us who are all in our 30s. I could see it being great for friends, families etc. ##### Deana B. The kitchen was lacking lots of glasses, frying pans, utensils…felt like we were constantly washing dishes even though the dishwasher wasn’t full. Not enough comfortable seating in living room, huge deck with no comfortable patio furniture and nothing around fire pit….maybe be nice to have some muskoka chairs. Ad stated that there are 4 canoes but are kayaks, has a boat launch 500 metres away and a beach a few minutes drive away but couldn’t find it and not given an address. Loved sitting on the dock every morning drinking coffee and having lots of bedrooms so everyone could have there own bed. Location is great with beautiful views of the lake and the little waterfall on the other side. It was nice listening to the sound of the little waterfall at night. Our teenage boys loved playing basketball on the deck and kayaking the two rivers that connect to the lake. We did a lot of hiking, we loved the nearby little beach Owen recommended. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable for our two families. We very much appreciated the drinking water graciously provided by the owner.
