They have a beautiful setting on Kapikog Lake. The lodging is pretty rustic and basic, but comfortable. The restaurant is excellent. We love German food, and the H&H offers some delicious German dishes in addition to more standard American bar food. We enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the sunset after our Rouladen dinner. The restaurant did not open for breakfast until 9:30am, so since we wanted to get back on the road we did not wait for breakfast. It is a little out of the way but well worth the trip. The location is absolutely beautiful with early morning fog rolling off the water and the gorgeous sunsets. If you are looking for 5 star, this is not for you but if you enjoy nature and rustic beauty it is wonderful. The rooms aren't fancy but clean and comfortable with a view of the lake. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
