"We were in town for a family reunion. My wife, dog and a couple of friends stayed in cottage B and my son's family stayed in cottage A. In hindsight, after seeing the property, I would have suggested to my sister who organized the reunion to hold it there. The property is beautiful and spacious. "I should lie…but I can’t, it’s a jewel. we will come back! From the moment of arrival 5 big Tom turkeys marched across the back yard. A bit later an eight point buck settled down by the garage while a doe grazed a short ways away, the following morning a doe and spotted fawn traveled through the backyard. "We had a great long weekend in Palisade! The place is incredibly spacious and well decorated. It’s also in a great location- just a quick drive to local wineries and hiking trails. Guests should be aware that the priority is up a hilly gravel road and is best for higher clearance and AWD vehicles."
