It was nice to sit outside and listen to the creek while reading a book. The pictures on the listing do seem a little dated as the property looked different and could use a little TLC. There is not much privacy in this house as curtains are used to separate rooms and the upstairs master bedroom/bathroom situation is interesting. The Swamp Cooler worked excellently to cool off the house as it was pretty hot during the day when we were there. The cabin is very rustic and is in the "country" -animals, livestock, lots of bugs-so if that's not what you're looking for maybe try something else. I love all the little areas to kick back, grill read a book and enjoy the animals and birds. The house has everything you need! Our Familymoon started out perfect with this living space and the sound of the creek just behind the house was the best.
