"Older semi-rustic place close to ocean, off the beaten path in Pacific Grove. Come here to get out of the hustle and bustle of Monterey. Some of the rooms have ocean views, and you can hear the ocean. Big on charm and location, but if you are looking for lots of amenities, then this might not be for you. We’ll definitely come back because we like rustic charm."

Lighthouse Lodge And Cottages

Lighthouse Lodge And Cottages

10/10 Excellent
"We had a really nice stay at Lighthouse Cottages in Pacific Grove. The room was clean, comfortable, and well organized, and we really enjoyed the amenities. The fireplace was especially nice and warm, which made the room feel very cozy. The only minor issue we noticed was that the refrigerator had a strange smell. We also had an issue with the parking area where the tree roots had pushed up and shifted the concrete, creating an uneven area that scratched the bottom of our car. The property did let us know about the tree, but we didn’t realize there was another entrance on the side that would have been easier to use, so that part was ultimately our mistake. Other than those things, we had an amazing stay and really enjoyed our time there. We would definitely consider staying again!"

"What a sweet and special property! We had room 211 and it was a dream. We had a corner and a view of the ocean from our bed. It was a comfortable bed and thoughtful amd adequate breakfast. The woman who checked us in was so friendly and kind. The location was ideal for Lovers point or a sunset in front of the lighthouse. I recommend a night or three in Pacific Grove!"

8/10 Good
"We checked in the front desk clerk is very helpful. The room was nice clean, but one window frame was broken which I brought up to his attention Sunday morning, which we couldn’t open the window. He’s sort of shrugged it off. Also, we checked out at 9 AM I had to go around the corner to see him sitting on the couch in his office or where he stays to get him to come to the front desk. Also, he was very unkept like he just woke up that was minor. The big issue was breakfast. The meal was great the waffles the amenities, but the lady maintaining the cleanliness of the tables when people were done. She was more busy standing in her little area eating behind a curtain. I had to go fetch her when a gentleman in a wheelchair wanted waffles, but there was no batter in the machine. Also, she did not come out and wipe the areas after people use stuff. The yogurt was out which was two metal containers with fresh yogurt in them on ice both were empty. It’s more about the priority of her job is to make sure the food is cooked put out areas clean and the food is replenished in a very timely manner, but you had to go look for her, but the main thing was dirty tables you had to wipe your own tables which I brought up to the front desk clerk and he said ok thank you"
