"I wanted to love this cute place so much and all of us were looking forward to exploring NYC and enjoying the beach from here. It's in a great location to both sides of Rockaway and the beautiful boardwalk, shopping and restaurants and bars. The major and huge issue with The High Tide Hotel is its location over the island's loudest bar. It has a horrible head banging noise situation. "This was a great property and a great location in Brooklyn. It was close to the public transportation we wanted to teach my son to use. The owner has updated the rooms. The kitchen was fully outfitted, so when were were exhausted, there it was for some light cooking, or quick breakfast. The bathroom has a cool and classic subway tile style. First rate. We're already considering another trip."

"This was a beautiful space for us to spend Thanksgiving. The subway was a nice 20 minute walk and the neighborhood and neighbors were friendly and interesting. The space was restful, homey, and included everything we needed. Our host was helpful and always available with great information before we arrived. I can’t wait to return."

"This property was at most the horrible experience. Property is not at all where it states on the website. When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. We stood for a week and they came at the second to last day of our stay. It was cold every morning and the windows were patched with garbage bags.
