"Inspite of a wedding going on the hotel staff were as attentive to my family group. The spa facility was good to use too. Food especially breakfast was great. The disabled parking was also easy to access. My only downside was that the patio door of my downstairs room didnt open. It also took me a while to find the tea/ coffee and kettle hidden in a wardrobe. Otherwise a perfectly pleasant time . "

"Beautiful Hotel and outstanding customer service from every member of staff. Room was lovely, comfortable & clean, bathroom could do with updating but very clean. View not so great which should maybe be an option when booking as looking on to flat roof rather than city of Chester. Overall a very nice hotel and would definitely book again."

"This property is stunning . The breakfast is excellent. Cleanliness is top class . Staff are welcoming and very pleasant people. Grounds are kept immaculate by the grounds staff - who deserve a special mention for their excellent efforts . My minor negative is that , although the evening meals are excellent and tasty , the menu needs at least one “ Today’s special” on it that changes Daily .. as after 2 nights we had both used our options up on the very restricted choice menu - and so we had to eat out in the locality to try for something different and so not repeat ourselves. "
