There is an additional double sofa bed in the sitting room if required. This is an idyllic property for walkers, cyclists and those just wanting some time out to explore this lovely corner of Shropshire and Mid Wales. Cot and high chair are available on request. The cottage also has ample off road car parking with room for two vehicles. Of the three cottages we stayed at (SW England, North England, at here in the Midlands/Wales area), this was our favorite. Rosemary, our host, was terrific, and the cottage was absolutely incredible. The two bedrooms and two baths were really great, the kitchen was well designed and spacious, and the laundry room with both a washing machine and separate tumble dryer was perfect. The property was countryside perfect, including some sheep and lambs. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations. We were able to use this as a base while we explored Noth and Mid Wales, the Midlands to my grandmothers birthplace. Leek, and even a ferry trip to Dublin. ##### Walt W. We had a nice relaxing stay, garden is lovely and delicious homemade cake on arrival. Host was helpful and accomodating, and check in was easy. Nice walks from the cottage. Very close to the border with Wales, went to Powis Castle which is worth a visit. The local area is a bit sparse for shops, would recommend having a car, but Shrewsbury is a lovely historic town closeby, we used the park and ride (15 mins away). In the kitchen was a homemade cake to greet us, and each room downstairs had freshly picked flowers from the stunning garden. The cottage was immaculately clean and very comfortable; everything had been thought about with great care.
