"My two sisters and I loved everything about the place especially the kitchen and the temperature control via AC or heat. The only concern about the place is that it took 1-3 tries each time we had to unlock the front door by code. There was supposed to be music to help but couldn't really hear anything. May need some attention but have to admit we never alerted anyone at the time thinking it was related to our ineptitude! I tried to do this review on the Vacasa site but the page never came up...

"What a great little spot! Had a girls weekend with 8 of us, and the house was cozy, close to the ferry (8 min walk), had all the necessary cooking amenities to cook in! 5 min walk to the beach. Just perfect, we already booked again for next year!!"

"The rooms as set up with a variety of sitting areas which suited our party of 8 adults aged 65 to 84 very well. The house is stocked with any basics you might need, with cupboards labeled and inventory provided - the organisation is amazing. The heating system provided an even temperature throughout the house, which was very comfortable during a damp, cool early May. An attractive and comfortable home in the midst of historical Bath. Perfect."

"Can’t say enough great things about this lovely home! So clean, fresh and bright! The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was perfect for my older dad. The location couldn’t have been better. We easily walked all around town and the town is so great! Very quiet and so many places to eat and shop! Will most definitely be back and may even stay in the Barn!!"

"Highly recommended! The property is conveniently located within a short drive of Downtown Boothbay Harbor. The view from the house was spectacular and the accommodations extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were truly memorable, and coffee and fresh baked cookies served as a delightful afternoon treat. Carolyn and the Five Gables staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, readily sharing their local knowledge of the area. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
