« We loved our stay here! What I loved most was the common area with the large sectional and seating area. Plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out! We used the kitchen for all meals and it was adequately stocked with everything we needed for cookware and utensils. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The location is great, a quiet neighborhood and easy drive to the harbor. The only thing I would suggest to make it a better stay is more towels and adequate bedding for the pullout...

« It was our first trip to Boothbay and we couldn't have been more pleased!!! The Shipbuilder's retreat was well appointed in every way! Wide open, well cared for, and comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and playing games in the evening. It was a convenient trip to the local grocery store, and was very near to all the beauty and joys of the Harbor, light house's, LL Bean (an hour), and hiking. We LOVE it! « House was immaculate, roomy and up to date. Anything needed was supplied. Host could not have been more attentive and accommodating to our needs. All of our party were adults but had a great time with shuffleboard, board games, and hot tub. Perfect combination of adult and kid friendly home. Location was far enough away from town for privacy but close enough if needed anything or wanted to go out for dinner and drinks. Will definitely stay again when in the area. »

« Shower was small, room was a little tight, but well kept up place. It would have been lovely to sit outside on the provided chairs, but very cold weather prevented this. Very walkable to great restaurants and shops »

« This was perfect for our one night stay to visit the botanical gardens, it was only minutes away. Also very close to quite a few dinner and shopping options. »

« Room smelled strongly of old cooked food (Indian?). Windows were already left open to air the room out when we arrived. Luckily, we arrived early enough to run the fan for a couple of hours prior to going to bed. Room should not have been rented that day. Am continental buffet was good. Coffee was pretty good. »
