"The view and location were great! If you’re looking for a quiet weekend, this location may not be the best for you as the hotel has night life and music in the streets. We were looking to be within walking distance to the beach and a lot of the restaurants and such so was great for us. Keep in mind that this hotel does NOT have elevators. Hauling all of our luggage up to the third floor was a hassle but the view made it worth it"

"I was very disappointed with our stay. We came hoping to create a memorable birthday experience, but unfortunately the condition of the resort did not meet our expectations. The room had spiders and other critters coming down from the ceiling, and it smelled as though it had not been properly cleaned. The floors were filthy, and it felt as if the cleaning equipment itself was not being maintained. When a place calls itself “Paradise,” that standard should apply not only to the beautiful outdoor surroundings but also to the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The pools also appeared unclean, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the amenities. Throughout the resort, including near several restaurants, there were strong odors that suggested grease traps or cleaning areas had not been properly maintained. We had planned to order food within the resort, but the unpleasant smells discouraged us from doing so. I believe the resort would greatly benefit from investing in additional staff and more consistent maintenance. This review is intended as constructive feedback to help improve the guest experience and bring the property up to the standard its name promises."

"Great place, perfect for our 3 days in Ocean Beach. Easy walking to the beach, to downtown, to great coffee and sourdough bread among so many other delights.Dora, our host, was wonderful. Immediate responses to questions and once we arrived, came over to greet us.Appreciated that we had a parking spot, beach towels and chairs plus sunscreen.COMFY!!"

"The hotel and our rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. Pools were nice and heated. We loved the marina and had a great time kayaking. This was an additional cost but well worth it. The onsite dinning/food options are very limited and nothing was available for late hours, after dinner. The Market store closed at 10:00AM so the quick food and coffee wasn’t available after that. This got challenging as we got up early for marina activities then had to leave to go find simple breakfast options. No vending machines for drinks or ice machine. Parking was expensive and valet or self parking was the same. $55 plus tip a day. There were times the self park lot closer to the room was full so we had to valet at the front entrance and haul our stuff to our room which wasn’t terrible but not convenient. This was understandable except the lot is also open to marina guests even though it’s the hotels. One truck and boat trailer took up eight spots. Mission bay was great and close to all the main attractions. I would definitely stay in the area again but might look for other places to stay."

"This was our second stay here and we just love this place! It is relaxing both inside and out. It is a close walk to the beach, which is great for taking our 2 Goldens to Dog Beach. The owners are friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back. Thanks!"
