Loved having a balcony off the room with benches to sit on. Larger bathroom than expected. Easy walk to the beach and shopping/restaurants. Benedict’s, the Airstream set up on the property, has AMAZING coffee and food. Will definitely stay here again.

I love that this place is right next to the beach! The balcony to sit and enjoy the ocean views. It’s close enough to walk to nearby restaurants and OB nightlife. I think it’d be cool if the parking spots were numbered to each room. I’ve stayed here 4 times and will definitely be returning. One thing I didn’t like was the dirty floors. But that would not stop me from staying at my favorite hotel in OB.

This property is at a great location and has friendly, helpful, employees. The rooms could definitely have better amenities. The sliding doors did not have screens. The bedding was dirty and the towels were very, very, thin. The shower did not have any shelves for your necessities. This motel could definitely improve very easily.

We stayed last year and had a much better stay… We had ants and gnats in our room this time, the people above us were walking around w/heavy feet ALL NIGHT LONG, everynight. When I complained at 5:00am, the night person made me feel like I was being ridiculous and asked me why I didn’t tell him at 1:30am as he could have done something... Told me to let him know sooner if they continued the next night which I just gave up on. We paid $1,500 for the room $130 for parking and our dog. Needless to say, we won’t be staying here again.

It’s not a Four Seasons but if you want a super convenient stay to take your dogs to the beach and not have to drive to eat, then it’s your place.

The property is close to the dog beach makes it really nice and convenient. They are dog friendly! Only a few little issues I have are the charging for parking now. It’s $15 a night to park at the hotel you already are paying for. That’s not listed on the web site. Also the extra charge for the pets. Also a $15 a night fee. These things need to be on the web site if you are going to charge people extra for.

Old and not updated, no Towles at pool had to ask for even towels in the Room, there where only two we where four people. Nobody makes Beds, I would not rent again! Was Disappointed. Pictures on Expidia looked better than in real life!

Liked the location, being so close to the beach. There were homeless people in the bushes that were camped day and night just yards away from the hotel and directly in line with going to the beach. Felt unsafe and obtrusive

First impression of this place was, “Yikes! Boarded up lobby door, old, dated exteriors…” Then we got in our room and it was also dated. I actually checked the bedding for bedbugs-something I don’t usually do. There was an odor to our room as well. HOWEVER, the bed was super comfortable and I really appreciated having a gated patio where my dog could run and play. Not a fancy hotel, but close to the beach and nice for my dog.
