"The hotel is lovely, clean, and well-maintained, with attentive and friendly staff. The beds were comfortable, the room was very quiet, and the view was excellent. Can't beat the location, easy walk to the beack or coffee shops and restaurants nearby. One note for families: the balcony railings have spacing wider than 4 inches (we measured), which may be a concern for those traveling with small children/infants. Parking is valet-only at $250 for two nights, which felt a bit steep, though understandable given the location. There’s no microwave in the rooms for reheating food, and no hot tub on-site."

"Very clean, nice and convenient. Could use new mattresses and pillows. The key system in the elevator is cumbersome and doesn’t always work. However if visiting UCLA or surrounding area a walkable option and in LA that’s saying something."
