"This place is better than a back alley, but not by much. Weekend before Memorial day boiler still on and the room was 85 degrees had to open the door windows turn on the air it did not cool down until the next night. Cockroaches, they do not change the sheets inbetween guest, only thing the guy cleaning the room came out with are the towels, but i guess pretending to wash them works. Do not even ask about the bathroom, you are banging your knees to sit down and i think the shower was last used...

"The receptionist was very nice but that’s the only good thing I can say about that place. Is was very run down, stuffy and dirty."

"The hotel room, amenities and building were fine, but I was denied the free parking because the front desk said AFTER I parked in the garage that they ran out of parking vouchers for the month. I had to pay a total of $18 for parking for just a one-night stay. This isn't a huge amount, but the point is that it was unannounced. It's hard to believe that a 3-star hotel in the 2nd biggest city in NY State provides a limited, first come, first served approach to parking."

"Could not use the air conditioner / heater because of the dead bugs and mold in the unit. The blankets were stained and you do not dare step on the floor. There was a beer bottle on the stairwell . They say its a smoke free room, did not smell like one. I usually try to leave a good review"

"My experience at this place was terrible. I booked the hotel that very day—just before 6:00 PM—and arrived at 11:00 PM to check in, only to find that they couldn't locate my reservation. I had to call Expedia support to help me resolve the issue; I spent two hours on the phone—until 1:00 AM—before I was finally able to check in. They gave me a key card that didn't work for the room, so they gave me another one that *did* work—but for a different room. However, that room had only one bed, whereas I had specifically requested two. Then they gave me yet another key card—insisting this time that it was for a room with two beds—but once again, it turned out to be a room with just a single bed. It wasn't until 2:00 AM that we finally got into a room and were able to get some sleep. I do not recommend this place at all. It is a place where the staff is completely inattentive. The place is dirty; the sound the door makes when you enter is horrible; and the breakfast... It was the worst I have ever tasted. Do not stay at this place—ever."

"A clean, quiet, and cozy hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and hearty. The staff is friendly. Tea, coffee, and juices are available at any time of day or night. I gave it a rating of 4 out of 5 because the swimming pool was out of order, and the laundry service was also unavailable."

"The hotel lobby, rooms, stairways and everything else were very clean. The breakfast bar is okay- there was bagels, bread and pastries. 2 kinds of cereal. Packaged oatmeal, yogurt, apples and a waffle machine. There were eggs and sausage each morning we were there and those were not that great but overall it was okay. Good coffee! The pool room was clean and warm but the actual pool is COLD. The room did have AC that worked well! The bathroom fan was squeaking which was more of an annoyance than an issue. The beds were very comfortable. Overall it was a decent stay!"
