« Rooms have a lot of mold and some rooms have water seeping in. All they’re doing is spraying with bleach and painting over. This will not kill the spores. They need a remediation company to take care of this problem. The only staff worth mentioning is Brie, Shakoia and James. « It was just perfect! Super clean, room fully functionnal, staff super cool and we love the view from our suite. The restaurant beside and the lil coffee surf shop made this even better. 10/10 »

« La 1è chambre que l’on nous a donnée était tellement humide que le sol était mouillé, lit humide aussi. Mais le gérant nous a tout de suite donné une autre chambre qui n’avait pas ce problème et qui était très propre »

« Nous avons passé une nuit fin juillet 2025 à The Anchorage Inn and Marina à Ocracoke, et ce fut une bonne expérience dans l’ensemble. Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était assez spacieuse, propre et confortable, équipée de TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café et frigo, ce qui est toujours appréciable. « This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here!
