As you step through the custom front door, you'll be greeted by a large foyer that leads into the first of two game rooms, complete with a pool table for some friendly competition. Adjacent to the game room is a formal dining area with seating for eight, featuring elegant sawgrass wallpaper and judges paneling. Moving further into the home, you'll find an open-concept living space that includes a gourmet kitchen with a large island, two cozy sitting areas, a bar, and an office nook. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation. \- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances. Parking Details: Maximum of 6 cars is allowed onsite. No parking on grass or street. \--- This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. The house was very welcoming and really had all the input that we needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the main floor had everything that we could want. The kitchen had all the utensils and anything that we could ask for...We thank you for having the hose work correctly; it was so practical to have the hose available for us to take the sand off our feet. Also thank you bringing someone to take care of the koi in adding a water flow; we would have liked to have a ladder installed but I can understand that perhaps there wasn't any room for a ladder- also it was good of you to remove the rusted detached ladder. We enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle board. Also the multiple cooking area outside was terrific! We also enjoyed the the "play" room; we enjoyed all the games. I thought the deck was a little rough...some of the capitals were missing on the posts; found some of the wood planks to be a bit rough; also there were many areas where there was dust-like accumulations and threads on the window sills and the table on the porch including ants; ##### Rita D. The property details on the listing accurately aligned with the actual property logistics and floor plan and the house was equipped and stocked with more than what we needed and used. When we arrived we found it to be a beautiful home, just as advertised. Clean and ready inside. On the back it needed a quick cleanup so we contacted the company that manages the property and they were quick and efficient. Great managing company by the way! Always reachable and ready to help. We had a lot of fun on the lake and the beach/dock were a dream. If you’re bringing your boat like we did, just note the closest public boat ramp is only 2 miles away (inland sea marina). They need to hire a new cleaning service. There is an inch of dust on all baseboards, dirty pots and pans, crumbs all over the knife block, spiders and cobwebs everywhere. Don’t get me started on the glitter left over from holiday vacationers. The king bed in the master bedroom is actually two twin beds pushed together…very odd! Then there were the raccoons in the attic. The management office was responsive to the issue but it required staff to visit twice daily.
