I liked how it was very close to everything you could want in Soho. Good shops & restaurants nearby. The building itself seemed quite new and the lobby area, dining area were very welcoming. The actual building itself was very clean. Now to the negatives… When you arrive to the hotel you’ll be met with a lot of less fortunate individuals. There were people sleeping right outside the hotel, hanging out, smoking, playing music. I get it’s right on Bowery but that was a little bit of an unexpected thing that we came across every time we left the hotel or returned to it. Another thing, I didn’t like how small the rooms were… When i booked the room the pictures made it seem A LOT bigger than what it was in reality. We were just two people and we felt that it was extremely small. We had to make sure our stuff was always organized or else it felt very tight. The size of the room also wasn’t advertised unfortunately. Upon asking if we could change into a larger room we were told that all the rooms in the hotel are the exact same size.. Very odd but okay… Also, you have to request if you want your room to be cleaned. Any other hotel i’ve ever stayed at had routine daily room cleaning. Anyways, definitely a nice hotel, friendly staff, very welcoming, but there were definitely things that were major deal breakers for me.

The rooms are cool and modern but they are super small, so very expensive for the size. But at the same time, New York is a very expensive city, so go figure?
