There were blood soaked rags laying about, cans of pop and random debris. There was a woman who pulled up in a taxi and was drunk and spitting as she was exiting. The place felt dark and didn’t feel inviting. The staff member at the front was not at all enthusiastic. We went to bed at 8pm and by 9pm a group was situated next door and they were loud and drinking until 2:45am. I called down to the desk to ask if they could tell them to turn it down… I was advised they would call the room.. nothing changed. There was limited hot water… the breakfast was well put together and the staff member was pleasant and had a great vibe. I would not recommend or be returning to this location. The staff are awesome and helpful. It is always so nice to be met by people who are genuinely warm and caring. The property itself is very tired, very dated. There is plenty of garbage around in the parking lot. It does not seem to have been cleaned up at any point recently. The carpet in the hallways is covered in pieces of garbage, it really needs a good vacuum. The beds are EXCELLENT!! What they have replaced is great! Other than a comfy bed the room is lacking. The bathroom fixtures and walls and floor is very dated, chipped, in some places falling apart. The buffet breakfast was a very pleasant surprise and the food was fresh and well attended. It was a noisy hotel for our stay, noise continuing on until nearly 3am both inside and outside. There is an authentic Mexican restaurant on the property. The food is spectacular! If you don’t mind the noise, don’t mind the dirt, don’t mind the price you will have a good sleep."
