"The room smelled like someone had smoked cigars in it. It stank. We are going to ask for our money back or at least a significant discount. Also, the toilet barely functioned. Having a plunger in the bathroom is not good maintenance. Terrible experience. I told the staff in the morning and they couldn't be bothered to apologize. All they said was "We'll let them know." Terrible customer service."

"This was a terrible hotel and doesn’t deserve one star. The room was awful. The stink was so awful and was filthy, the pool was dirty and unusable, hot tub absolutely unusable. I cannot tell you how awful the stench was in our room. The worst hotel I think I’ve ever stayed. If there were ANY rooms available nearby I would have left. My clothes and everything stunk that smell the next day. The ice machine didn’t work, the breakfast was gone at 7:45 am except the cold cereal, warm milk, and old bread for toast. Even pancake batter machine was empty. There was an orange that was set out that was so rotten, the sides were caved in. Ugh. Find a better option!"

"I stayed there for a week and m6 sheets and bathroom were never cleaned. Also, they didn't change my sheets once. I paid for the service. Also, my room wasn't dusted and even though you can walk down and get coffee in the lobby. I prefer to not get out of my pj's at 6am to get coffee. I had to call for coffee because my room wasn't replenished with coffee or cream. I had to walk down to the front desk to have house keeping bring it to my room because the phones didn't work. The furniture needs to be replaced. I am a Marriott owner and this was the first time I ever experienced this. The room was very clean when I got there but the room service all week was horrible."

"I have always enjoyed visiting and staying at your casino/hotel for many years. By far, always the best option in BlackHawk! However, this past week’s visit was disappointing. I may be mistaken, but I thought I made a reservation for a premier king size room with more square footage and other amenities? The TV screen was consistently going in and out and refreshing the screen in our room number 1030 last Wednesday night. Then when it was refreshed, the audio was not in sync with the screen. Both my girlfriend, I also had difficulty using our rewards card and more than half the slot machines and video blackjack in your casino. As I said, somewhat of a disappointing visit."

"We like the layout of the room. It was very clean and the hotel had nice amenities. Breakfast was good and the staff was exceptional. The pool was nice and clean. Patrick who worked the bar and also the morning breakfast area was exceptional. This hotel experience was one of the better ones I’ve had in a long time."
