« Great hotel! It's located around 10 minutes from the city center by foot, so you can do everything walking. A great plus is the personnel - everyone was really helpful and nice, ready to help whenever needed. Last but not least, the bedrooms were amazing!!! The beds are very confortable and big, the room is spacious and everything was very clean. And we can’t not mention the private onsens inside the hotel. They are available for the guests, and they are great. We Reallyv recommend this hotel! »

« The room was really spacious with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was included but dinner we ate out as the hotel is large and they can't accommodate everybody. This was not a problem as there were so many restaurants in town. You do need to time the shuttle bus well though. Overall, a brilliant place to visit and really worth the money. »

« The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! And the food was amazing and a wonderful experience. We had 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners and they were all...
