« Everything about Carroll Cabin was wonderful. It was absolutely immaculate, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, but best of all were the thoughtful little touches that made it feel like a home. The location was perfect for easily accessing the trails in Red River Gorge. »

« Absolutely gorgeous property! Nothing really worth mentioning on complaints. I would highly recommended... and yes the have full kitchen gear, and people have left behind spices, dish soap, hand soap. Basically the place is stocked. I didn't knoe what to expect for shopping and what not, but there are plenty of stores, coffee, gas station, tourist activities, hiking, etc. All within 20 minutes »

« Key pickup was no problem. Nice home-base for day hiking in the park; tho located on a state route, the parkway runs just behind so noise might be an issue during warmer months. The bigger bed is not a queen... (nor is it a king). The shower is not suitable for tall or big people »

« The place was clean and quaint.  The location was nice, just a short drive to the Gorge and various hiking places. The price was reasonable.  I would stay here again however it did not have a deadbolt lock or even someway to lock the door only from the inside.  The area was fairly nice however I just feel safer with the extra lock. Also the only way to heat the cabin was a little propane heater that work great but we were afraid we were going to burn the place to the ground if we left it on...
