"As a historic hotel with relatively good rates, this is not a luxury hotel. Rooms are on smaller side (there are choices in size) towels less fluffy white, floors creaky, most parking is very near on the street. There are lots of pluses....It's well located to the beach and food options, staff is super friendly. There's a very nice public area to sit w wine and cookies in the afternoon, and a garden patio area outside. Enjoy Joghurt w granola an fresh fruit at breakfast. This is a repeat stay place for us."

"Room wasn’t as nice as the pictures showed. I’ve stayed in worse/better. I loved the sliding blinds but it had to much of a gap between both. "

"Room view ocean view. The ground is great. Room is dated, but we all know that. On-premise food (breakfast and dinner) are barely ok, but we are not here for the food either."

"Easy access to water was a definite bonus! Water heater was broken in room so water was not very warm. Staff was friendly and accomodating. "

"The place was easy to find everything in the room looked nice and clean only issue we had was the noise at 2am people were outside being loud drinking listening to music we tried calling the front desk nobody answered my husband finally went outside after the loud nosies woke up our 3 year old and our 4 month old to tell them to please be quite our babies are trying to sleep they yelled back at my husband with not so nice words then again we got woken up at 4am I tried calling the front desk again they did not answer they kept driving around the property with really loud music "

"I loved everything about this room! I wished I would have had more time to enjoy it but being able to hear the ocean at night and seeing the sunrise over the beautiful ocean view of my room, was a wonderful touch."
