Great view of Alcatraz, great staff. Lobby just needed coffee to make it perfect! :)
The staff was fun, attentive, and very helpful. For dealing with the thousands of tourists they deal with they were incredible! The hotel itself is so nice. The nautical them is fun and the lobby is so great we spend several hours there just enjoying a glass of wine and people watching. Our room ...
Didn’t like that valet parking was $80 per day - too much
Everything was good… Safe with Hilton. A little rough area but overall just fine
The location wss great as near Fishermen's Wharf snd several other attractions
Proximity to activities was great and convenient. I was able to walk everywhere.
Lovely stay at the Stanford. Rooms were clean. Ideally located as it’s at intersection of cable cars and a lot of Muni buses operate around the area. Our flight arrived early well before check in time and the staff were able to organise a room for us. Overall experience was good
Like: the staff, very friendly. Dislike: the noise from the hallways. Could hear everything like they were right next to us. Example: we could hear the neighbors zipping their suitcase.
Beautiful historic property. Suite was offered as a free upgrade for a special birthday and free drink tickets provided to the Pied Piper. Breakfast was outstanding and the sticky buns gave me LIFE. Will definitely come back again.
Slicing through the wind and fog, your paddles cut through the air and into the blue waters of San Francisco Bay. This is no average kayaking tour. This is an adventure that takes you through strong currents to some of the most popular sites around town. And kayaking is just the start of a thrilling trip to SF.
When you’re ready to see the more rugged side of San Francisco, you have your pick of options. Whether you prefer to see the city by sea or by foot, this is an area perfect for exploration.
Start your journey with some sailing or kayaking along the bay. You may even opt to row your way to McCovey Cove, where homeruns from the SF Giants baseball team often make splash landings in the waters. If you prefer to be under the sea instead, sign up for some scuba diving classes. Choose a school that can train you in a giant pool before heading out to the ocean just beyond the sand. If you’re more of a land fan, rent a bike and trek around the windy trails and steep inclines of the hills. Just remember to use caution, as drivers like to dart through the streets. If you’re really looking for adventure, you can always bike across the Golden Gate Bridge if you don’t mind looking down to the rushing waters below.
Another thing that’s a rush is finding the perfect deal on your hotel in San Francisco. Book right here on Expedia.ca to discover a magnitude of rooms and suites that best match your needs. You may even want to book a place with an in-house spa to massage your muscles after a day of exercise.
