Club Quarters Hotel in San Francisco

"Good for a gui Good for a short stay"
The hotel was located between 2 Bart Stations which was good. Not too far from the Embarcadero where we went often . The room was small but comfortable. Busy and pleasant hotel with nice staff.

"Comfortable work hotel"
Extremely friendly and knowledgable front deck staff. More than willing to give information on a local walking path and they hand out bottles of water to everyone upon arrival.

Hotel Nikko San Francisco

222 Mason St, San Francisco - Map
"Top-tier hotel at a reasonable price"
I travel quite a bit for work and take several personal trips each year as well. I was as pleased with Hotel Nikko as I have been with any hotel I've stayed at in the last several years. My wife and I stayed here for 5 days, and we both were impressed. The staff was great- from the moment the cab dropped us off to the time we checked out. The room we were in had a separate shower and tub and plenty of space. The pool, hot tub, and outdoor deck area were AWESOME. (They also have an outdoor dog run on their balcony if you have pets.)

Le Meridien San Francisco

333 Battery St, San Francisco - Map
"Nice place, but lacks personality"
Le Meridien is a lovely hotel, but lacks any real personality or uniqueness. On arrival there was an incredibly loud protest at the front entrance (those wanting the hotel staff to unionize). They were very aggressive and loud, which started the visit on a tough note. Our room was lovely. No complaints there. The challenge is with the location - on one hand super close to Ferry Building/Embarcadero, and Union Square, but somewhat in a no-mans-land of the Financial District, so few restaurants, stores closed on weekend, dark blocks. Which leaves no one on the streets but homeless people which is a little unsettling for tourists.

Park Central Hotel San Francisco, a Starwood Hotel

"Great hotel, only downside no room service."
I chose a corner room with view and I wasn't disappointed. However, the hotel didn't offer room service which is shame since that how I prefer to take my breakfasts. Other than that, it is a solid option.

Hyatt Regency San Francisco

5 Embarcadero Center, San Francisco - Map
"Good Value for being in SF Embarcadero area"
The hotel is in a very good location for when conducting business in the Embarcadero area of San Franscisco. Value was good considering what other hotels were charging in the area. The lobby, atrium and overall architecture of the facility was impressive, however, the actual rooms are very standard and not in pace with the rest of the facility's design and decor. I found it odd that the towels and facecloths were in baskets sitting on the marble floor near the toilet? The height of the shower head was designed for someone 5'4" or less. And counter space in the bathroom was very inadequate. Despite that, I would probably stay in this hotel again for my next business trip.

Hotel Whitcomb

1231 Market St, San Francisco - Map
"Convienent and charming"
Gorgeous lobby a few steps away from the BART. Our room was probably the most quiet hotel room I've ever visited. I liked that there were many European visitors. The area was a bit dicey with homeless people and open drug use

Hilton San Francisco Downtown/Financial District

750 Kearny St, San Francisco - Map
"Very comfortable hotel, great position"
This was our second stay. Both visits have been for a full week. Some SF's best views if you're bayside on the higher floors. Check in was great. The executive lounge is convenient particularly as there are no minibars in the rooms. Coffee, tea and bottled water are supplied to the rooms each day. Bathrooms are well stocked and the daily housekeeping is excellent. All common areas are always very clean and tidy.
