"Affordable hotel with hot staff"
I was there for four night with my mom. The hotel especially its staff was good. The location was accessible but I did not like the location. I think it was not clean. I do not its the SF problem or just because it was downtown

Sofitel San Francisco Bay

"Nice location"
We did not get the double room we had confirmed online, so we were a little disappointed. Plus, our view did not have a nice water view like we saw in the photos on the website. Our view was basically a gravel area. Still, the bed was very comfortable and the location is great. Parking costs extra and was was an unexpected surprise for us. At $25.00 per night, we will stay elsewhere next time to save that extra money.

Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge

"Nice hotel, good location"
I chose this hotel because of its central location -- it's a 15-20 min drive from the Oakland airport, about a 10-15 min drive to downtown Oakland, and about 20 minutes from San Francisco. This hotel is located next to lots of shopping options, and it's also located next to the freeway, so it's easy to get back on the road again. The hotel and the room itself are clean and modern. Our room (two double beds) was a bit cramped, but matched our needs perfectly. The hotel staff at check-in and check-out were friendly, courteous, and efficient. There was parking at a moderate extra cost, but well worth it. After a long day of driving, we chose to eat at the hotel restaurant/bar. The food was pretty good, but the service wasn't great. Overall, though, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

I checked in at around 8a.m. because I got a flu, which made me unable to walk around and wait for the proper check in time(15:00). Staff warmly welcomed me though it was irregular, which was a great help for me.

"Very nice hotel that is centrally located"
The hotel was very well kept and located within walking distance of all of the downtown attractions - shopping, ball park etc. Public transportation was very close to easily get to all other San Francisco Attractions (Pier 39, Golden Gate Park etc.)

Room wasn't ready at check-in at 4 pm - had to wait at the bar. But Angel made it ok by giving me a complimentary drink at the bar for use while waiting. Greatly appreciate the awesome service from him.

Unlike chain brand hotels, this is a unique hotel in a great location. I could not be happier with the Staff they were very pleasant during our stay, extremely helpful with directions and public transportation questions. After my stay i realized i had left a valuable item in my room, i contacted the hotel staff and the item was returned to me promptly.
