"This hotel was beautiful, the room we stayed in was massive and felt very updated with a really nice and clean bathroom. The location on the river was beautiful, the property had a private rooftop which had the most beautiful panoramic sunset views of Florence. The location was very close to everything, far enough away from Ponte Vecchio that you weren't in that mass of people and a quick walk to pop over the river to explore the area of Santo Spirito. "It’s old fashioned in a good way. Employees were wonderful. Suggested restaurants and made dinner reservations for us, booked taxi to airport for us. There is a little terrace on roof that we sat on and drank wine. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location! Walked to museums and restaurants and the river. Would definitely stay here again "

"The location is fabulous. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We arranged through the hotel to have our car taken to a garage and brought back to us. Everyone complains about the lift but we stayed there on the first floor, in the garden and it was wonderful. Our room damp but I it probably goes with the old word charm."
