"In lieu of a wedding, we rented the castle for a long weekend family vacation. It was incredible! We had 14 people and all fit comfortably in the rooms. There are many common spaces. Giovanni recommend a wonderful private chef who we used for dinners and breakfasts. Taxis need to be booked far in advance or rent a few cars to get around. In Tuscany taxis tend to book out quickly. We had some family members traveling internationally and arriving early. Giovanni was very helpful in getting their rooms ready first so they could take naps and get settled in. The castle was so much fun to explore! The basement is a wild sight. The rooms were comfortable, large and had amazing views. Visit all of the rooms because they are each unique :) The suites have sinks and refrigerators, which was an unexpected surprise! There are many hiking trails nearby to explore. Bring your binoculars because there is great birding! The pool had shaded areas all day and sunny areas all day. Would go back in a heartbeat!"

"Quiet, serene and peaceful view of the valley. This house is as beautiful outside as it is inside. Many sitting areas and even a fresh garden to choose vegetables for a meal. Simona cooked us an awesome candle lit dinner outside. The food was delicious and looked magazine perfect. I already want to go back!"

"This hotel is absolutely beautiful and authentically Italian. The staff are wonderful and helpful with tours and restaurant recommendations and bookings. The location is fantastic! Surrounded by vineyards and wineries and only a short walk into town where there are great restaurants and cafes. "
