They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The estate itself is the most beautiful property, with lush greenery and fairytale-like ambience. The dining options were phenomenal as well. We will most definitely be back!! "

However we were hugely disappointed by the pools which were way too cold, including the spa pool which didn't even work properly either. Also at this price bracket we would have expected drinking water, tea bags and shower caps etc. to be replenished daily in the rooms which they weren't. "

"This was our second visit to Castello Vicchiomaggio but the first overnight there. It's a beautiful historic property that is maintained impeccably. Our room was perfect in every way. We stayed in a junior suite. It was extremely spacious with a separate living room. The decor was very tasteful and the linens were luxurious. The bathroom was spacious with great water pressure. The bath products supplied smelled lovely. The food at the main castle, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, was excellent....
