"The hotel is a beautiful old master of its day, but a little tired. It could use some upgrades to carpets and paint. The breakfast room in the cellar was beautiful & elegant! The staff was simply stellar! The room they assigned was too noisy (super busy street!) so they very graciously made a change for us to a quiet room - with a sweet little balcony. Great size room and bathroom with fluffy towels and good bed. A refrigerator would have been really nice. The ‘service’ room Is brilliant! You can help yourself to plates, silverware, glasses, ice and even a washer and dryer. Their rooftop is open for lounging or watching the stars. "

"We felt very welcome. Staff was very efficient, kind and helped us with all of our questions. We were welcomed with a choice of drink and bus pass valid during our stay. Breakfast was great. We did appreciate the third floor snack bar for late night munchies and availability of drinks without going out. The room was very clean and unique. We loved how the balcony overlooked the garden and we could get a breeze when we wanted. "

"Gorgous view of the mountains, helpful staff, and spacious rooms. You can buy tickets for the Zugspitze at the front desk and pay for the tickets at check out. The location isn't ideal for walking with luggage from the train station. Its about a 30 minute walk. However they will give you a city card for the bus network. Very happy with our experience and would happily stay again. "
