« The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay! »

« This is a new hotel and everything was clean and neat. We had some trouble at check-in due to problems with the reservation and payment from Expedia. Not sure if it was a computer communication problem. The manager was able to straighten it out and the rest of our stay was fine. »

Sadly, no machine for beverages worked, on top of that, AT the reception fridge for them neither,coke warm, needed to go get the Ice , not fun, and We needed corkscrew for our wine, réception had none! « The rooms were dated. They could have used a refresh. There were no cups in the room. I had to use one I got at a gas station. There doesn't seem to be enough parking for guests when the hotel is full. Brock, the clerk on duty when I checked in was very friendly but the clerk at check out was not. »

« Wow..just wow! All I can say about this stay was that it was absolutely incredible.
