The farmhouse is ideally situated in close proximity to the University of Georgia, home of the beloved UGA Bulldogs football team. Sports enthusiasts will revel in the opportunity to soak up the game-day atmosphere. The Bulldog Farmhouse serves as your base for immersing yourself in the proud traditions and passions that define UGA football. A peaceful, private, environment right in town; sits on almost an acre of land! bright, spacious, and completely renovated located right in the beautiful city of Athens. This house has OUTSIDE security cameras ONLY!!! Pets are not allowed. No smoking is allowed. We subscribe to a monthly pest and mosquito service, but depending on the time of year and weather conditions, that does not guarantee a bug will not make an appearance during your stay. Well stocked with various amenities. Despite the age of the house, all the appliances and AC unit were modern and worked well. Only complaint was one of the three bathroom sinks was almost completely clogged and very slow to drain. Had to cross through living room or kitchen to access the the bathrooms. One of the best "perks" of the property location was the Sweetie Pie by Savvie bakery that was literally next door. There is a Kroger, Publix, Aldi and Dollar Tree all within walking distance. Less than a mile from the property with sidewalks if you are so inclined. The farmhouse is over 100 years old, but it is equipped with all the latest conveniences. I particularly enjoyed the front porch with the rocking chairs and the back yard sitting area with fire pit. Although in June, we never lit a fire. The grill is a good quality model with multiple burners.The interior is nicely decorated and very clean. The Internet is very fast and there is a Mesh network setup to provide solid connectivity across the entire house. The management company were highly responsive to all of my requests. Staying for three weeks, I requested some additional supplies and they responded to all of my request immediately.The only cons I might mention are the outdoor lawns might need more attention during summer months when it is rainy. We played a number of outdoor yard games on this visit and mowing every two weeks was really not enough. As other reviewers have mentioned, the King room and Twin/Queen rooms are a bit warm in the evening, even with the AC set to 70 degrees. Portable fans would be a good upgrade.Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I will definitely stay here again on future visits to Athens. ##### Tony S. We didn’t use the outside space much, but early morning coffee outside was very peaceful! Location is GREAT, convenient to so many things! Our only small issue was a few unhoused individuals passing through the adjacent neighborhood - nothing the property management can do about that of course.
