They have a cockroach and bug problem at the hotel and I am not sure if anything is done about it. The building is poorly built and already you can see wearing out on some facilities without proper repair. Has a lot of potential though. The pool is nice and staff are very friendly.

The hotel is clean, in a safe neighborhood (with a receptionist available 24/7), and the breakfast had a great spread. I was provided an airport transfer when leaving and it was delivered in a very nice Tesla. The staff was friendly and accomodating every step of the way. My biggest complaint is honestly how it's located at the top of a steep hill, so heading to it from the Baixa-Chiado or Rossio metro stops is rough sledding. It is close to great stops like Carmo convent, Rossio square, and the Santa Justa lift though!

Great area. Funky stay. Some rooms a little dim and some not dark enough. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. But overall, very good.

The market is only open in the summer after April. Nice plaza that the walking tour's guide goes to and talks about.
