Margaretville Vacation Packages

Don't consider this facility a cut above. Restaurant wasn't serving food, pool was closed, elevator was out of order. Shower tile was moldy, towels were so thin you could see thru them. 3 bath towel, 1 face cloth and hand towel, 1 drinking glass for use between 2 adults. Ancient AC wasn't the noisiest I've heard...it was adequate. I will say that the bed was very comfortable and the morning coffee was great, but not worth the upcharge. Staff was pleasant.

Very nice place. Quiet. The breakfasts are included and are upscale with excellent staff service. Unless you are young and don't care, make sure you get a ground floor room - the upstairs rooms require a walk up a large staircase, and are inconvenient. Would definitely return.

The property is beautiful and very walkable, and well-located with Tanglewood, The Mount, Shakespeare & Co and downtown Lenox extremely nearby. Onsite amenities such as clubhouse, tennis courts and pool are convenient and the individual units are nicely laid out. The property is a bit older and could some updating/refreshing.
