"great location, peaceful, quiet and beautiful! has sea and mountain views. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our room had no phones, broken blinds, no hot water heating kettle and a leaking fridge, was not cleaned inside. Balcony was not cleaned. We had to check out early, just one day: due to flood warnings and coastal high waves. But the hotel refused to refund the money. very bad. Hotels .com does not help either. Has good parking and good view, great location."

"Wonderful stay in Malibu! The property was very clean, conveniently located, and the host was exceptionally professional and communicative. There was construction nearby, but it wasn’t an issue once we were inside—the crashing waves completely overpowered the noise and created a serene atmosphere. Parking off PCH can be tricky, especially for larger vehicles, though our small Acura SUV fit without issue. We had a great experience and would gladly stay again."

"This was my first trip to Malibu and it did not disappoint! The location of this property is off the charts and the views of the ocean are stunning! The ocean is literally ten feet away from the patio. We slept with the back door open every night so we could fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Angel met us when we arrived and he was awesome!! If you are looking for a place to relax and watch the waves roll in, this is your place. I will definitely be back."

"We had an excellent stay at SA Beach #8. The location on Carbon Beach is hard to beat—the ocean views from the suite and private balcony are incredible, and having direct beach access made the entire stay feel special. We stayed for my girlfriend’s birthday, and it was the perfect setting. Waking up to the Pacific, having breakfast overlooking the water, and being able to walk straight down to the beach made for a memorable morning. The suite was clean, comfortable, beautifully designed, and exactly as represented. The Stay Awhile team was also extremely responsive and accommodating, including helping us with early access, a late checkout, and other requests throughout the stay. Great property, great location, and excellent service. We would absolutely stay here again. 5/5."
