The location was in a private and secure community in the Mākaha Valley just a few minutes away from the beautiful beach and away from the crowd. "This was a beautiful condo. The beach area was breathtaking. It is an hour drive from any of the tourist attractions so if you are wanting to see the sights, keep that in mind. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is perfect. There are some homeless tents across the beach area, but I never felt unsafe at the resort. The only issue I had was that I failed to read the fine print on Expedia that check-in was before 5 and we should call for late check-in instructions. The condo never contacted us to tell us that. Our flight didn't land until 4:30 so we didn't check in earlier. This caused some confusion when we got there, but the night security guard walked us through what to do, and all was well."
