"My visit was extremely pleasant. The entire staff was accommodating and kind. The location of the hotel is perfectly located to shopping and dining in walking distance. Safe neighborhood with a good welcoming vibe."

"We were in a 3rd floor room. I believe we were level with the Dance Club next door. The club sounded like it was literally on the other side of the wall! It was so loud. I could hear the DJs muffled announcements. The club closed at 2 a.m! The bass beat lasted until 2 am. The hotel said there is nothing they could do as they tried "calling the police", complaining, etc. Of course it is a private business. You cannot call the police on them for being loud when it is a dance club. BUT what Hilton could do is not put people in the rooms where it is the loudest OR you could pay to have the loudest rooms sound-proofed. It is not the first time I have stayed in a hotel near a club, reception hall, or theater. The difference here is that Hilton did no sound proofing of the rooms AND then sells them to unsuspecting customers. I couldn't fall asleep until after 2 a.m. and then had to get up early. It was terrible. I am sure that was not the first time they had to give some unhappy customer that same, We've tried everything excuse. Of course, no refund was offered."

"Clean and well located, if you are planning to go into the San Francisco city during your stay, this hotel is perfectly located as it is just a bart ride away! Truly enjoyed our stay."

"I have stayed at this hotel many times. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The bay view from my room was beautiful to wake up too. There is also a beautiful walking path."

"I did not utilize any of the amenities as I was just looking for a comfortable place in downtown Berkeley for one evening. And in the regard, it was fine. That said, we had a service animal with us, which they insisted on charging us a $75 pet fee, even when I made it clear various times under the American Disabilities Act that is not legal and service animals are not considered pets. I ended up staying at the hotel and paying the fee despite this as it is exhausting to have to argue and find another accommodation. Just want to detail the experience we had so that any others with service animals are aware."

"A great location with access to food and entertainment venues in the vicinity. My room was large with comfortable bed and good clean linens. Elevator is old but functions well. Basic breakfast options, but adequate to start my day. I was using public transit which is readily available in the area. Therefore I did not use the parking garage, it seemed adequate and convenient to the hotel entrance. I spent 2 nights and would stay here again. "
