Virginia Creek Settlement

"I really loved staying at the Virginia Creek Settlement and would stay again. My friends and I had an unplanned trip to visit Bridgeport due to an unexpected change to our plans elsewhere, so we decided to stay at the Virginia Creek Settlement on a whim. It was a sweet little spot to stay, and we enjoyed the restaurant and checking out the fish hatchery. The pros: staff was polite and helpful, cabins were clean and well stocked with amenities. We enjoyed the cabin decor and outdoor seating and fire pit. Cons: because the check-in is at the restaurant, there can be a bit of a wait when the staff is busy. The location is noisy being right off of 395 with loud trucks and cars wizzing by day & night, some of the cabins are a bit close together and don't feel quite as private as a result. All-in-all, we felt the pros out-weighed the cons, resulting in a nice trip. We would love to visit again."

"Everything for us was very thought out. Example-if we needed clean towels the next day, there is a laundry basket and they’ll refill it with clean towels. The rooms made us feel at home, warm and cozy. Stocked kitchen to make a meal. Tables and chairs outside our door to enjoy the town, clean air and wildlife(deer, birds, etc…)."
