Nice and quiet place to stay for a night or two. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the mountains surrounding the outside front of our room. Very beautiful and also don't forget new refills of K-Cups coffees to start your morning everyday.

The room was clean and had some updates from the original construction probably in the ‘60’s. We liked the full sized refrigerator, sink and microwave. There was no air conditioner but only a box fan for the window. Unfortunately, the cord was not long enough to reach an outlet so we had to settle for placing it in a doorway. Once the wedding party across the street left we were able to open the windows and get some sleep.

This review is for the motel room. I don't know what the condition of the cabins are. This motel is rated as a 2-star by Expedia and that is exactly true but barely. It was very clean but otherwise had the very basic room amenities and most were old, repaired, or of questionable quality. There was no manager on-site at check-in time and no one answered the phone nor was there a way to leave a message (although I did get a call back when I used the number from the confirmation email). Here are the things we experienced in out $160 /night ($184 with taxes) room: WiFi was fine Toilet not bolted to the floor entirely Linoleum in kitchenette was not stuck to the floor in many places Carpet was stained Mattress was like a marshmallow (I guess that's good or bad depending on what you like) One of the chairs was clearly held together by a bad application of Gorilla glue. The other thing that was strange was I got a lot of emails from the motel, including one reminding me of the date that was the latest I could cancel without penalty. After that date passed, I got an email telling me that wifi may or may not be working, cable tv may or may not be working, and power may or may not be available. I get the 1st 2, but jeez, invest in a generator to at least keep the lights on. FYI -no elevator so if you have mobility problems, you need a 1st floor room Anyway, all of this would have been fine if this were a <$99/night room but at nearly twice that on a weeknight, we expected a lot more.
