The property was secluded and tucked away which was nice for a quiet and relaxing experience. Although it was secluded and tucked away, it was central to many locations and lakes that were on our itinerary.

The staff was very helpful and answered texts quickly. The beds were comfortable which is a make or break for us. Room did not have an a/c lucky for us it was cool at night and was not needed. The room was big and kept clean.
The property had a gorgeous view of the the rocky mountains. The kitchen, bathroom and bed were large. The owner helped fixed what was needed. Very happy customer!
I enjoyed my stay at Whispering Pines. The room was exactly what we needed. Very comfortable and close to both June and Silver Lakes.
I had a question and they were very quick to answer! We will be staying here again!
Pet friendly property close to June and Silver lake. I booked a suite and it had ample space, basically the size of a cabin on the upper floor. Complete with smart tv, plenty of books, dvd , amenities. Comfortable couches, sofas and beds. My dog was very comfortable here. The only thing to note is the close proximity of the road, so you can hear cars come and go, and if the other occupants are speaking outside. Otherwise than that, I enjoyed this location.
It was actually very nice! We needed early check-in and the host graciously accommodated. The room was cute, everything felt very fresh and clean. I didn’t realize e would have a kitchenette, then was also surprised by a kitchen table and chairs…. We enjoyed our room and rested well! Thank you to Whispering Pines! Great job.
Room appeared to be recently renovated. It was clean, comfortable, spacious & adequately supplied w/cooking/eating utensils, dishware & towels/washclothes. Environment was quiet/peaceful. Parking area near room was limited & rough due to what appears to be ongoing construction.
Great location near all the major lakes in the area. Walking distance to Silver Lake. The front desk was very helpful. The cleaning team was very nice providing clean towels daily.
This place is amazing, the property is nicely located, and from the front door of our room we could see beautiful snow capped mountains and even a waterfall, just stunning.
The property was nice and staff available by phone for questions/concerns were very nice. However, the reason I only gave an “okay” overall was because there is a house being built right above the property. We were looking forward to a quiet mountain getaway and the banging went until around 7:30pm and then started again Saturday morning at 8:45am. This needs to be clearly disclosed as I feel the night wasn’t worth any where near what we paid due to the noise pollution. I would love to stay there again if/when there is no construction. Thank you.
We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Whispering Pines! We stayed in a king-bed room; very comfortable bed, clean bathroom with walk-in shower, a small kitchenette that included a refrigerator w/freezer section, microwave, and sink. The TV and wifi worked well during our stay. This was the perfect motel for us as we explored the June Lake area and Mammoth Lakes. Having the refrigerator and microwave helped us plan food and picnics. And wonderful bonus: amazing view of Horsetail Falls and mountain scenery right outside our room window and door. This place was peaceful and a wonderful part to our summer trip. We hope to stay again!
The staff was nice and available despite a busy holiday weekend. The room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Keurig worked as it should. Plenty of hot water. However, the WiFi was mediocre: Poor signal and constant signal drop despite 3 access points. Bathroom door not opening/closing properly.
I stayed in a one bedroom suite and when I get into my room I seen that I was upgraded to a deluxe suite so that was a major point in the books for them. The room wasn’t too clean when we go in , it looked like the carpets weren’t vacuumed and the toilet wasn’t cleaned, but the kitchen was nice had everything we needed and lots of space so it didn’t feel like we were crammed into a little room. It does get a little hot because there is no ac but we brought our own fans and used their fans as well and the breeze later In the day made it suitable. A lot of the reviews on here were pretty bad so I was weary coming to this place but overall I liked the room and the location. I would stay here again.
Great place to stay and a great price! The room had good space and a nice bathroom.

I really like the easy check in: there’s an envelope with your name on it outside the office, all the information you need is in that envelope. I like the separate kitchen area. Beautiful view of the mountains with waterfalls. There’s no AC, only one box fan. An extra fan would have been nice. Good thing it wasn’t too hot at the time. Some parts of the room was renovated. The window blinds was broken at the bottom, the ceiling had a leak stain. The furniture look like in the 80s 90s.
Was such a perfect spot for our weekend get away with our family. Was beautifully tucked away but close enough to the mountain for a day on the slopes. Hot tub was wonderful we will definitely stay here again!
