Lovely, family owned property. The only thing that would have been helpful would be to have more room amenities such as mini fridge, microwave, hangers, more towels… etc. Property is clean, close to everything in Puerto Viejo, within walking distance to the beach, has a good breakfast, and staff is very friendly.

Let me start off by saying this. This is the most beautiful and well managed property I have been to. The staff was extremely nice. The manager Angie was a huge help for my wife and I. We had the luxury suite with pool and fell in love. The breakfast we had every day was excellent and our servers were extremely nice, tended to our needs and were always ready to help. No complaints at all. The room was amazing. Super clean, and the staff as well. The security staff at night was also extremely friendly as well. My wife and I would come back late at night and there was always someone there at the entrance. I would highly recommend and I probably will be coming back.

Here’s a polished review you can post: We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aguas Claras in Costa Rica. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The beach nearby was beautiful, peaceful, and great for relaxing. Everything about the experience felt special and authentic. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Caribbean side of Costa Rica!

I solo traveled here for my graduation. Firstly, the doors and windows were janky I had to move rooms 3x when I finally got a room it was in the main hotel (not what I booked). The room I booked was in the jungle so I could not risk my window or doors not working. Food was okay, the location was beautiful and directly on the beach which I loved. Staff was kinda helpful. I didn’t like that they asked if I would sleep in the room where the windows did not lock until the morning. Overall I give the property 3/5. Also there’s no a/c but it was not that hot with the fans.

Wonderful site in the midst of the jungle at seafront. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, exciting experience. Nice beach, but not well maintained, maybe because of the season? (beginning of June). Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and very good meals.
