The building is incredible, inside and outside, and that it's kind of bad, it's old and the inside feels old, although clean, my mattress was old and uncomfortable, the staff very friendly. A few meters from a metro station, and in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods in London.

We stayed one night in London and the Abbey Notting Hill was a good option. The location is perfect, trains are 2 minute walk, quiet street and perfect for exploring Kensington, Notting Hill and Hyde Park. Staff were very kind and helped carry our luggage up and down the 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) Room and bathroom were spacious but dated. Just keep in mind it is a dated building so you can hear every footstep and creaking floors.

The room was not the one we thought we had booked and there was hardly any running water coming out of the taps the pressure was so poor. The bath was stained and needs replacing. No air conditioning and the room was right at the top of the building so very stuffy. Lovely helpful and friendly staff.
