Upgraded and really wish I saved my money . For the cost you can surely get a hotel in london so much better .

Central location but lacks character

Location: Central location with everything at fingertips!
I generally stay at Hilton whenever i travel and I was a little surprised by this hotel. The breakfast was no where near as good as other Hilton's and i had to wait a good 10 min for an omelet and they didn't even get the ingredients correct! The room on the executive floor had a whirling wind sound which i only discovered around 2 am and 'although' i could 'change' my room, who really wants to get up, change and complain and move rooms at this time? The water that is usually complementary wasn't in the room when I checked in and was added much later in the evening as if the room had not been properly prepared. The good news that when i checked out, it seems the staff took notes and said they'd look into the complaints but will most likely stay at the other Hilton or even consider trying a competitor, although I generally like the other one and especially the bfast!

Nice hotel overall, amazing view, great location.

Pros: I liked the staff, everyone whom I interacted with genuinely tried to make my stay pleasant.
Cons: I think given there are a lot of asians and middle eastern clients, breakfast hall should have some international cuisine too, for variety
Location: Close to all the nice places around green park and knightsbridge and piccadilly. Also close to RA for art exhibitions. Good for shopping too.
I've read mixed reviews of this hotel so was a little worried before staying. However after checking in and a minor glitch with my prior check-in room being unavailable (one of the front desk staff seemed to be a rotating intern and didn't know whether my assigned room had a shower over bath or separate bath and shower), I was switched into a room that I liked. I have HHonors Gold - the staff were really nice about upgrading the room with use of the lounge, which is right next to hyde park and served nice afternoon tea. Actually staff were super attentive all around. the view from the higher floors is amazing and it's a great location to explore London. Note that the similarly priced rooms can be VERY different from one another so try to get the room chart before you finalise which room. I didn't have any issues with guests from other countries which some other reviews seemed to have complained about, I love London for the fact that it is super diverse & international, and I guess a hotel on Park Lane is bound to be just that given it is where people stop when they travel. So yes the clientele is international, but that to me that was a huge plus as the atmosphere is less snooty. I liked the gym which wasn't huge but was well equipped with separate yoga area which is a blessing for exercise buffs. Overall great experience at the hotel. My mum who stayed with me enjoyed it too.

OK, but should be better as a premium hotel

Hotel is largely as expected for a Hilton in a premium location. A few things that annoyed me. Beds are hard and might suit some people, but isn't as good as places like premier inn If your driving, then hotel is just inside (100yds) London congestion zone, so add £11.50 per day to costs. Overnight parking is also expensive (£50) with no discount for guests. Internet access is chargeable, which in this day and age isn't acceptable. It was also fairly poor speed and reliability.

Centrally located.

Pros: Breakfast was included in the rate, and offered a wide variety for all diners to choose from.
Cons: The staff who cleaned the room were inconsistent in providing towels and complimentary toiletries. On the 3rd day they provided complimentary water.
Location: Convenient location to walk to all the sights.
Convienient location in London beside Hyde Park. Comfortable rooms though tired and dated decor. Beware they claim to offer complimentary wi fi. But in reality they claim to have a low broadband service in common areas ( which didn't work in the restaurants or lobby), actually wi fi is available for £12.99/day. On a request of the Concierge for assistance in booking a cab to the airport we were directed to the black cabs outside the door ( a more costly transport) or alternatively told to download the app for Addison and Lee (cab company) and to book it ourselves. The doorman and breakfast staff were cheerful and friendly, and the only helpful staff we encountered.

Lovely room with amazing views

Pros: We thought the room was lovely The bathroom was clean with a rainshower shower over the bath. Cleanliness when we arrived was good. We were on the 17th floor and the view was just incredible. We had cocktails in the restaurant at the top of the hotel and the service and attention to detail could not be faulted. This was also the case in the lobby cocktail bar. The hotel staff were polite and attentive and noted down all of our issues following with an apology.
Cons: Thought it might have been better to get rid of the bath and just have a really good shower.We thought they should have advertised that the bed was 2 beds put together to makeit that big.The housekeeping could have been better. Our cups and glasses weren't washed when we returned to the room in the evening and a dirty napkin was still there from the night before. The final moan was that there was a smell of rotten eggs from the airconditioning.
Location: The hotel is situated on Hyde Park Corner very close to many attractions so that you can make the most of your stay in London

Good hotel, great location

Pros: The staff and the location were the definite highlights
Cons: the cleaning was the only real let down and I may have just been unlucky
Location: The Natural History Museum is a must see if that's your thing and within walking distance
The location was the real selling point here but the staff were absolutely excellent, really helpful and friendly, I couldn't praise them more. The room was as expected but the bathroom seemed a little dated. Also the thing that surprised me was that the bathroom just wasn't as clean as I would expect from a hotel of this standard, there were hairs in the bathtub and a mystery yellow/orange substance on the side of the sink (I really hope it was a previous guest's shampoo or something) that I wiped off myself with a piece of toilet tissue (so half of the sink must have been completely neglected from being wiped). To end this review on a high note, the bed was perfect for me so I slept really well and it was nice to get as much space in a room in central London.

Tired Hilton Hotel

Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: Hotel needs a refurbishment
Location: Great location with nice restaurants and bars nearby.
Worst Hilton I have ever stayed in. Water pressure in hand basin was minimal. No hot water in hand basin during mornings and had to boil a kettle to get water to shave. Fault never rectified. After three days of asking sound at an acceptable volume level was eventually restored to the tv. Housekeeping staff never knocked when entering room (embarrassing !) and missed cleaning room on one of our four days stay. Had to ask for this service on returning to the hotel one evening. Had to constantly ask for more tea and milk for the room. Access keys to the room kept loosing data with resultant lockout. Yet another trip down to reception to complain!!! Never again.
