The hotel is central, clean and quiet and the room was light and had the rare joy of a kettle. A couple of small gripes - It was very busy so I didn't get a requested iron and ironing board until it was too late and I needed to leave for my event crumpled which was frustrating. There is also no air con so the room was stuffy and hot, but noisy if the windows were opened.

We have stayed at the hotel before so knew it was a convenient for all attractions. However, check in was big disappointment, we were not made to feel welcome at all. We checked in at 2pm on Thursday, the receptionist was unfriendly to the point of rude. I am pleased to say all of the breakfast staff were fantastic, shame the reception staff let hotel down.
