We were able to go see our son at App State for the day and enjoy wine at Linville winery. Our younger kids loved going gem mining and the outdoor roller coaster, which was only a short drive. « We primarily rented this place to have a place to sleep after a trip to Grandfather Maountain, but it was so much more than that. The fireplace was great and easy to operate, the home was cozy and inviting, very clean with simple and easy checkout instructions. Loved the Keurig machine and coffee selection, and the TV was easy to operate. Enjoyed popcorn and a movie before bed. Would definitely stay here again.
