« This place is FANTASTIC!! It's quiet, peaceful, and has incredible views of the mountains. Don't let the drive up intimidate you because it is worth it!! The hosts are so nice and have paid attention to all the details that made staying here special, from the automatic nightlight in the bathroom to the games in the living area. I have now convinced myself I need a small cabin tucked high in the woods because I didn't want to leave. Black Mountain and Montreat are small towns with so much charm...

Every thing that could be done to make our stay enjoyable was done. Directions and communication were clear, quick and thorough. « We had so so much fun during our visit! The location is so beautiful, we were so fortunate to see the peak of fall colors and it was breathtaking. We saw the sunrise over the mountains right from our cabin and we had a clear view of the sky for nighttime sky gazing too, the stars are so much brighter! The actual drive to the house was super manageable, didn’t need 4WD so long as you don’t try to drive up the gravel driveway, which Michelle advises against anyway. Michelle was an awesome host, so...
