Large pool area which is nice for kids, but was expecting a much classier experience at this hotel. The rooms are outdated and feel tired. Everything is also way overpriced. A simple drink at the pool is $30. For the price of this hotel room, you’d be much better off staying elsewhere like the Venetian.

Very nice room.. We stayed because it’s close to the airport, helicopters all night and a room next to us was kinda noisy. The TV didn’t work at first but they sent someone out to fix it, they gave us $50 off dinner voucher for the tv. Everyone of the staff we met were super friendly.

Terrible service! Was put in a room that was less than what i booked and way at the end of the hoteo away from everything. The smell in the elevators and hallways was atrocious, we cane into a dirty room and the ac was howling like a jet engine the whole time! I asked to be moved and was not accommodated, i asked to be comped for my stay and that was also denied. I will never book through expedia again or staybat the Mandalay Bay resort.. which is so sad to stay.. i booked that place specifically for the reviews and reputation of the Mandalay Bay Resort and they definitely fell short of their reputation! Highly recommend you save your money amd stay elsewhere!

The check in process is a train-wreck! There's no place to park to drop off luggage and check in. We tried to self-park for check in and found ourselves about a mile away from the front door. When we finally got in, there were 45 people in line to check in! When we finally got to the pool to relax, drinks were $35. Nothing is cheap at this hotel and it needs to be refreshed (it's looking old!)

My husband and I booked the Mandalay Bay but were put in the nearby Delano Hotel instead, no reason given, and we had booked months ahead. Although the Delano lobby was very nice, the room looked nothing like the room at the Mandalay. It was a very long walk to the facilities of the Mandalay so we ended up not really using them. I would not ever stay here again (our son and family who were with us and were actually at the Mandalay, picked it). Way too crowded, loud, and you have to walk through the large casino area whenever you want to eat, as all of the restaurants are around that area.

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and had a very nice time. I appreciated that although it’s a large hotel, the rooms are centrally located. It made it very easy to do things around the hotel. It felt like we never had to leave with all the delicious food options and entertainment options. Our room was nice but we had some problems with the water in the shower. It was either really hot or really cold. Overall the room was very spacious and clean. We had a resort king. The pool was expansive and fun! We really enjoyed relaxing! We had a lovely stay and we will definitely be back!

Mandalay Bay brought the term "tourist trap" to a whole new level. From coffee in the room at $ 16 per cup, to small bottles of water at $ 24, no available fridge (can be rented for additional $ 50), you feel like you're navigating a mine field with uncertainty what's actually included in already high price for the room. Exhuberant resort fees, which you get nothing for. Inconvenient and isolated location, suitable only for conferences and preferably paid for by an employer. Front desk staff is not friendly, I expected top notch customer service in a luxury hotel such as this one. 24 hr market by the guest elevators has no pricing visibly marked, and once you inquire about the price of an item you are left in shock and disbelief. I do not recommend staying here.
