The check-in system was down, and I was told for 2 hours I could not check in. When I eventually went to go check on it, I was told it was still down, but I watched the front deskman Oswaldo give multiple people keys and room upgrades because of the issue.
When I eventually got to the front, my room was DOWNGRADED, because they gave my room away to someone else. The room I got only had hot water flowing into it, and this issue was not resolved by staff until an hour before I checked out. In addition, the toilet did not flush unless you took the lid off and flushed it manually.
I made multiple reports of dead animals across the hotel grounds before I went to check in for the first time, and these animal corpses were not cleaned up over 16 hours later.
The staff in general was rude and short, and they straight up lied in multiple cases to simply get me away from them so they could disappear.
1/5. Would not recommend this hotel because of the staff, despite the building itself being opulent and lovely.
