Exactly as expected. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. Gabriela was extremely responsive to any questions and concerns. The area is close to many beaches by walking or a quick Uber ride. Amenities nearby and the vibe of surf side is truly a great experience.

We liked everything about this property. other than no water view this fabulous resort has everything we could want and then some. Security, nice pools, magnificent grounds, a kitchen which we did not expect,a very nice hot breakfast included and a staff that went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. only wish we could have stayed longer.

Agnes & Hilda are wonderful women who were very welcoming & accomodating. They both spoke english which helped me a lot! The hotel is a little gem. Great price for the accomodations & location. Beds are comfy, rooms are a good size, showers were clean & had great water pressure (and HOT water). It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The only thing I would say is to request a room away from the road. This hotel is right on the main street into Brasillito so there is a lot of traffic which can...

I spent two days here and it was unlike any other lodge/hotel I’ve been to before.
The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada.
Pura vida!!

Charming hotel, very well kept and amazing helpful staff. Lovely quiet beach front nearby with a few decent dining options there. Quiet chill place to relax, mostly an adult hotel overall it seems and with some nice live entertainment on weekends. Close enough to Coco beach for more dining options and beach stuff plus a very decent grocery store. Was great as a low key home base for this trip and very easy to and from the airport.

This place is so, so, so amazing. The hosts are absolutely exceptional human beings. This is the only place you need to stay if you visit Playa Ocotal or the surrounding areas. You will be disappointed if you choose anywhere else! This place really is magical. It's quiet, it has a great view, great pool, and the breakfast is the best I had on my vacation. I also had dinner here, it was the best meal we had hands down, with a great bottle of wine, with a view to die for.
Thanks again, Flo. You...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bahia del Sol. A little off the beaten patch, the beach was quiet and great for kids with a long shallow entry. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning looking over the ocean, went for a walk on the beach and then ventured out for an activity most days.

We stayed here for a week and it was excellent. We were here in the middle of the hot season, which meant we couldn't to do much during the middle of the day but the AC in the hotel was excellent and having the pool right there made the heat seem like no issue at all. I would highly recommend staying here for a short or long stay.
