"Upscale boutique hotel that is in a prime location approximately 3 blocks from downtown La Jolla. We stayed in the Conservatory room which was spacious, clean and has a little window seat overlooking the courtyard. There was a nice tea/water bar outside our room. Would definitely stay here again! "Great service all around. It’s the small things that matter and we mattered. The only thing I’d say that may need improvement is the bathroom counter. Definitely needed more space"
"The hotel is in a GREAT location and the view from the common area looking over the ocean is gorgeous. The rooms themselves are clean but dated. Front desk has limited hours so if you need anything, you need to get to them early before they leave for the day. If you don't need modern conveniences, it is a very nice place to stay."
"I have not stayed in a motel for many years and this one is a hidden gem. Everything was so clean and I think it was the most comfortable bed and pillows I ever experienced. Will definitely stay there again! I would rather keep it a secret but sich a good experience I had to share..."
"We really enjoyed our stay in this surprising secluded hideaway in the midst of a quaint neighborhood about 5 blocks from the Windandsea Beach. Also a lovely park with a great walking path is in the other direction. The property staff were responsive to correcting a couple of things weren't quite right in the beginning. The kitchenette is well appointed to cover any cooking needs. The shower is a bit of a downside it you are over 5'6" and has a fine spray. The stone tile floor has some wear...

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The rooms were cozy and the pool area was lush and inviting. We even enjoyed a bottle of wine poolside one evening. Free breakfast and parking were a perk, and the location was ideal — 2-minute walk to the beach, a cute coffee shop and several good restaurants, and only a short drive into San Diego."
