"Upscale boutique hotel that is in a prime location approximately 3 blocks from downtown La Jolla. We stayed in the Conservatory room which was spacious, clean and has a little window seat overlooking the courtyard. There was a nice tea/water bar outside our room. Would definitely stay here again! "

"The hotel is in a GREAT location and the view from the common area looking over the ocean is gorgeous. The rooms themselves are clean but dated. Front desk has limited hours so if you need anything, you need to get to them early before they leave for the day. If you don't need modern conveniences, it is a very nice place to stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this surprising secluded hideaway in the midst of a quaint neighborhood about 5 blocks from the Windandsea Beach. Also a lovely park with a great walking path is in the other direction. The property staff were responsive to correcting a couple of things weren't quite right in the beginning. The kitchenette is well appointed to cover any cooking needs. The shower is a bit of a downside it you are over 5'6" and has a fine spray. The stone tile floor has some wear...
