"The property was just as advertised and perfect for 3 generations of a family to stay together comfortably. The location was walking distance to bus stops, train stations, convenience stores and supermarkets. The only issues were that the rooms and house gets very cold if the heat is not constantly running and there was no electricity coming from the outlets in the dining room or bedroom directly above it. These are not something that should deter someone from staying at this location."

"There was 8 of us who stayed in the house and we all had our own bed. That is why I booked this house and it was perfect. Don’t hesitate if you’re debating on it. You’ll be so glad you did. You’ll get an authentic feeling stay. Short 4 min walk to 7 Eleven and 6 min walk to bus. It is a farther walk (15ish min) from subway, which is what you’ll need to take when you have luggage. This was a bummer but we got it done. The 3 cons I have is that it’s far away from subway station. Currently as of...

"The hotel was very nice. First of all the location is just perfect. You can walk pretty much anywhere, and otherwise you have a subway line just a few minutes away. it's also very convenient to move in taxi. The room was spacious and very nice. It had good amenities, a coffee maker, a nice TV, tons of storage space, and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was great too. And everything was ultra clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And breakfast was very good, totally worth it. I would definitely recommend it and go back my next time in Kyoto."

"The room was big and the shower and bathroom were separated. Amenities were very thoughtful, like face mask and bath bubble. The location was 10 minutes away from Nishiki Market. I would go back and stay more. "

"R West Group VIA INN Prime Kyotoeki Hachijoguchi is a solid choice mainly because of its unbeatable location. While the rooms do feel a bit outdated, the convenience more than makes up for it. The hotel is just a short walk from Kyoto Station and very close to malls and shopping centers, making it easy to get around and find food or things to do. Having a 7-Eleven right in the building is a huge plus and incredibly convenient, especially after a long day of sightseeing. The pajamas provided are also nice and comfortable, which was a pleasant bonus. Overall, if location and convenience matter more to you than modern room design, this hotel is definitely worth considering."
