I like the zen ambience, the large room space and the overall clean look of the apartment. We could see the delicate attention of the owner to meet the detailed needs of the guest. It's a 10 minutes' walk to Kyoto station. A big shopping mall Aeon is just next door. A quiet neighbourhood. Only minus point is not enough cloth hangars for 3 of us during laundry. Cool to have your own Japanese house for a few days. Very convenient to get to the station and JR lines. Great shopping and places of interest. Kyoto is a charming city. Reception for key collection is easy to find and nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Traditional tatami mat floors in the rooms with futons were great for the kids, but I was very pleased to utilise an extra foam base that was in one of the cupboards to provide just a bit more padding.
